What it is
NAD+ is not a peptide. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a dinucleotide coenzyme — nicotinamide riboside joined to adenosine through a pyrophosphate bridge — and it is the oxidized partner in the NAD+/NADH couple that carries electrons through glycolysis, the TCA cycle and oxidative phosphorylation. It is also the substrate consumed by the sirtuin, PARP and CD38 enzyme families, which is why its cellular pool size is a common experimental readout.
This listing ships it already in solution: 1,000 mg of NAD+ in a sterile isotonic saline base, filled to 30 ml in a sealed bottle with a metered pump rated at approximately 120 actuations. NAD+ in water is hydrolytically sensitive, so the bottle is kept cold and sealed. Supplied for laboratory research use only.
What the research explores
NAD+ is one of the most studied molecules in cell biology, largely as a cofactor and a measurement rather than as an agent. Research areas include:
- Consuming enzymes — sirtuin deacetylation, PARP-mediated ADP-ribosylation and CD38 hydrolysis, all of which draw down the same pool.
- Salvage pathway chemistry — the routes from nicotinamide, nicotinamide riboside and NMN back to NAD+.
- NAD+/NADH ratio as a redox state indicator in metabolic assays.
- Analytical methods for quantifying intracellular pools, where sample handling dominates the result.
- Solution stability — hydrolysis and degradation kinetics in aqueous media.
Supplied as a reagent. We make no claim about outcomes in any organism.
Questions
How should the bottle be stored?
Refrigerated, sealed and away from light. NAD+ hydrolyses in aqueous solution, so this format is more temperature-sensitive than a lyophilized powder.
Is this the same thing as NMN or nicotinamide riboside?
No. Those are precursors that cells convert into NAD+ through the salvage pathway. This is the dinucleotide itself.
What does the Certificate of Analysis cover?
Identity and purity of the batch as determined by the testing lab, tied to the lot on the bottle. It characterizes the material rather than clearing it for any use.
What arrives in the box?
One sealed 30 ml bottle with its metered pump, labelled with compound and lot. Research use only.
Which lot is NAD+ Nasal Spray's published certificate for?
Lot 1500-501, measured 99.99% by HPLC, tested Jun 30, 2026, by Pacific Coast Biologics Inc. The full certificate, including the laboratory's own assay rows, is published at /coa/HX2OFHO7HR.
