What it is
MitoPrime supplies three research materials in a single lyophilised vial: 100 mg of NAD+, 10 mg of 5-Amino-1MQ and 10 mg of MOTS-c, 120 mg in total. Two of the three are not peptides — NAD+ is a coenzyme and 5-Amino-1MQ is a small molecule — so the vial is best read as three separate research materials sharing a container rather than a peptide blend.
The vial ships sealed as dry lyophilised powder. Reconstitution with a sterile solvent is required before the contents can be worked with, and solvent is listed separately under supplies. Keep the sealed vial at room temperature and out of direct light; refrigerate once reconstituted. Each production lot is HPLC-tested, with identity and purity reported on the Certificate of Analysis filed against the lot number on the vial.
What the research explores
NAD+ — nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a coenzyme present in every cell and central to redox reactions and to sirtuin and PARP enzyme activity. Studied broadly in cellular energy metabolism research.
5-Amino-1MQ — a small-molecule inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), described in metabolic research literature.
MOTS-c — a mitochondrial-derived peptide encoded within the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene, studied in work on mitochondrial signalling and cellular metabolism.
Three distinct materials supplied in one vial. The research areas above are properties of the individual compounds; no combined result is claimed or implied. All three are supplied as research chemicals, with identity and HPLC purity reported per production lot.
Questions
Is everything in MitoPrime a peptide?
No. MOTS-c is a peptide; NAD+ is a coenzyme and 5-Amino-1MQ is a small molecule. All three are supplied as research materials in the same vial.
What is in the box?
One sealed 120 mg vial. Solvent and consumables are not included — reconstitution solvent is listed separately under supplies.
How is it stored?
Sealed, at room temperature and out of direct light. After reconstitution, refrigerate and treat the contents as a working solution.
What does the Certificate of Analysis cover?
Identity and HPLC purity per production lot. Because three materials share the vial, confirm the documentation covers each one for the lot printed on the label.
Which lot is MitoPrime (5-Amino-1MQ / MOTS-c / NAD+)'s published certificate for?
Lot 1500-501, measured 99.99% by HPLC, tested Jun 30, 2026, by Pacific Coast Biologics Inc. The full certificate, including the laboratory's own assay rows, is published at /coa/HX2OFHO7HR.
