What shipping costs
Standard shipping is free on orders of $100 and above. Below that it is a $10 flat rate, whatever the order contains.
The figure is calculated in the cart and again at checkout, on the order subtotal, before you place the order. There is no handling fee, no per-item surcharge and nothing added after the total you approved.

Standard shipping is the only service offered. There is no overnight or two-day option to choose at checkout, and no surcharge for one.
When it ships
Orders are dispatched on business days once payment has cleared, and tracking is emailed when the parcel leaves. Nothing ships before it is paid for — that is enforced in the system, not a policy we keep to.
Two things happen before a parcel leaves. Each line on your order is matched to a specific tested lot, and that lot is recorded against your order so its Certificate of Analysis appears on your account. Neither step is skipped to save a day.
Payment comes before dispatch, and nothing is charged on this site — you pay on our processor's own secure page, reached from checkout or from the link in your confirmation email. How payment and refunds work
What arrives
Packaging is discreet and unlabelled. No compound names, no product descriptions and no branding on the outside of the box. Whatever is inside, the outside is uninformative — to a neighbour, a mailroom, or anyone else in the chain.
Inside: your vials, each printed with its lot number. Nothing else — no paperwork to lose. Where that lot has a published certificate, it is on this site under the same number, and it appears in your account beside the order it shipped with.
Every shipment is tracked and insured.
Temperature and transit
Lyophilised vials are stable at room temperature in transit. No cold pack is used, and none is needed — freeze-dried material does not depend on a cold chain to survive a few days in a van.
A cold pack on a lyophilised vial is packaging theatre. It looks like care and costs you shipping weight. We would rather spend the same money on insuring the parcel.
Storage after delivery is a different question from storage in transit. Sealed vials keep at room temperature away from light; once a vial is reconstituted the requirements change, and that is a matter for your protocol rather than ours.
Where we ship
Import rules for research materials vary sharply between countries and, in some respects, between states. This is not a question we are willing to answer approximately, so it is marked rather than guessed at.
We ship within the United States only. Checkout accepts an address in the fifty states or the District of Columbia and nothing else — there is no international option, and none is implied. If that changes, this page changes first.

Tracking and problems
Tracking is issued when the parcel is dispatched. Until then your confirmation page is the record of the order — it is addressed by a private link rather than by your order number, so keep it.
If a parcel arrives damaged, arrives with the wrong contents, or does not arrive at all, tell us. Shipments are insured, and a problem in transit is ours to resolve rather than yours to absorb. Photographs of the outer box and its contents make a claim straightforward.
Which carriers are used, whether delivery requires a signature, the window for reporting a lost or damaged parcel, and who files the insurance claim. The site states that shipments are tracked and insured; the process behind that is not documented anywhere in this build.
Getting help
For anything about a shipment, send your order number — it looks like ER-0000 and it is on your confirmation page. For anything about the compound itself, send the lot number from the vial.
