The terms we actually operate by.

These terms govern purchases from the Elements DNA storefront. They are an agreement between you, the buyer, and the legal entity operating this store.

This is the term everything else depends on, so it comes first and it is not fine print.

Every product sold here is supplied for laboratory and research use only. Nothing sold here is for human or veterinary consumption, nothing is a drug, food, cosmetic or supplement, and nothing has been evaluated by the FDA. By placing an order you confirm that you are acquiring these materials for research purposes and will handle them accordingly.

We hold up our side of that line too: this site publishes no dosing guidance, no reconstitution protocols, no therapeutic claims and no testimonials about effects. If an answer would only make sense for human use, we do not give it — that is explained on the contact page.

We may refuse or cancel any order that appears intended for human use or for resale into human use. Where an order is cancelled on this ground before dispatch, anything already paid is refunded in full.

You must be at least 21, and you must be someone lawfully able to purchase and possess research materials where you live.

Checkout asks you to confirm this, in these words: “I am 21 years of age or older, and I am acquiring these materials for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary consumption.” The time you confirmed it, and the version of the wording you were shown, are kept with your order — so what you agreed to is a matter of record rather than of memory.

An order we find was placed by someone under 21 is cancelled and anything paid is refunded in full. We do not ask for institutional or professional affiliation: this is a description of who may order, not a credential check.

Placing an order on this site is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. What actually happens, in order:

1. Your order is recorded with a unique order number (it looks like ER-0000) and every price is calculated on our side.
2. Each line is matched to a specific tested lot and that lot's Certificate of Analysis is pulled.
3. You are taken to a secure payment page run by Cleffo, our payment processor, to pay by card. Nothing is charged until you complete it, and if you leave before paying, the same page is linked from your order confirmation email.
4. Once paid, the order is dispatched and tracking issued.

An order is accepted when we dispatch it. Before dispatch, we may decline or cancel an order — for stock errors, address problems, suspected fraud, or the research-use ground above — and anything already paid on a cancelled order is refunded in full.

You can cancel just as freely before you pay: a cancellation before payment costs nothing and needs no justification. See the refund policy.

Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice — but the price that applies to your order is the one shown at checkout when you placed it, calculated on our side rather than taken from your browser. Quantity discounts and promotional codes are applied there too, and the better of the two applies rather than both stacking.

Standard shipping is free at $100 and above, $10 flat below — shown before you place the order, never after.

Payment is not taken on this site. No card details are entered here and none are stored by us; you pay on our processor's own secure page, reached from checkout or from the link in your confirmation email.

If a price on the site is plainly wrong — a decimal slip, a broken sale row — we will tell you and offer the correct price or a full refund of anything paid, rather than silently holding you to either number.

Card payment is taken by Cleffo, our payment processor, on its own hosted payment page. No card details are entered on this site and none are stored by us. Paying there means agreeing to Cleffo's terms as well as these.

Each has its own page, and those pages are part of these terms:

• Shipping — rates, dispatch, discreet packaging, tracked and insured delivery.
• Returns — what we put right without argument, and what sealed research materials make genuinely non-returnable.
• Refunds — when you are charged, cancelling before payment, and how money comes back.

Compounds are described by mechanism and by what published research examines. Sequences, molecular weights and specifications are given to the best of our records. None of it is advice, and none of it is a claim about outcomes in any organism.

Where a catalog page and a lot's Certificate of Analysis disagree, the certificate governs — it describes the actual material, which is the point of issuing it per lot.

Product imagery shows packaging and format; vial and label appearance can vary between lots without notice.

Every batch is analysed before release by an independent laboratory, named on the certificate. Where that lot's certificate has been published, it is on this site under the lot number printed on your vial; publishing lags testing, and the archive says how many lots are up. That is a real commitment, and it has a real boundary worth stating:

A Certificate of Analysis is the lab's report of what it measured on a sample drawn from that lot — identity, purity and net peptide content, plus any further assay the issuing laboratory ran and printed. It is not a warranty that a compound is fit for any particular purpose, and it is not a safety assessment for uses the material is not sold for.

If the lot printed on your vial cannot be matched to the certificate published for it, we replace or refund the order — that promise is written into the returns policy.

Laws on importing, possessing and using research materials vary by country and by state, and they are yours to know. By ordering, you take responsibility for:

• confirming these materials are lawful to receive and hold where you are;
• handling and storing them as laboratory materials, away from anyone who might mistake them for something they are not;
• the accuracy of the shipping details you give us — a parcel delivered to the address on the order is a delivered parcel;
• keeping the confirmation link for your order private.

Honest state of this section: it does not exist yet, on purpose.

A limitation-of-liability clause allocates risk between the business and the buyer, its enforceability depends on jurisdiction and consumer law, and it has to be drafted by counsel who knows both. We are not going to imitate one here — a fake cap is worse than no cap, because it tells you the rest of the document might be furniture too.

Same honesty as above: this section is open, not filled.

Which law governs these terms and where a dispute would be heard follows from where the operating entity is registered — which is itself an open item at the top of this page. No governing-law clause, arbitration agreement, class-action waiver or venue has been invented for this page.

In the meantime, the practical route stands: if something is wrong, tell us first — most problems are settled the same day, and the refund policy is deliberately generous about faults that are ours.

These terms can change as the store does. The version that applies to an order is the one published when you placed it, and material changes will be dated — which is why the effective date above is marked as an open item rather than stamped with a build date.
