Cibinetide

Eleven-residue erythropoietin-derived peptide, lyophilized

What the research explores

The peptide exists to dissect a receptor question, and its literature follows that. Areas of study include:

  • Innate repair receptor engagement — the heteromeric complex of the EPO receptor and the beta common receptor (CD131), and how a helix B mimetic binds it.
  • Dissociation of signaling arms — comparing tissue-directed signaling against the haematopoietic response driven by the EPO receptor homodimer.
  • Inflammatory cell signaling in vitro, using the peptide as a receptor-selective tool.
  • Structure-activity relationships of helix B mimetics — which residues of the eleven are load-bearing.
  • Peptide stability and clearance kinetics relative to the full-length hormone.

Supplied as a characterized reagent. We make no claim about outcomes in any organism.
