What it is
This listing combines two short synthetic heptapeptides in one solution. Semax is an analog of the ACTH(4-7) fragment, Met-Glu-His-Phe extended with Pro-Gly-Pro. Selank is an analog of tuftsin, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg extended with the same Pro-Gly-Pro terminus. Both derive from different parent molecules — one a pituitary hormone fragment, one an immunoglobulin fragment — and share the C-terminal extension strategy that slows peptidase cleavage.
Shipped as a combined solution rather than two vials: 60 mg total, 30 mg of each peptide, in a sterile isotonic saline base filled to 30 ml in a sealed bottle with a metered atomizing pump rated at roughly 120 actuations. Supplied for laboratory research use only.
What the research explores
The two peptides are studied separately far more often than together, and the combined literature is thin. What exists concerns:
- Comparative pharmacology — the two sequences act on different upstream systems, one melanocortin-derived and one tuftsin-derived, which is the stated rationale for pairing them.
- Neurotrophin and monoamine readouts in rodent models, reported individually for each peptide.
- Formulation chemistry — whether two peptides sharing a saline base remain stable and independently quantifiable over time.
Co-formulated combinations are not the same evidence base as the individual compounds. We make no claim that combining them produces any particular result.
